"It’s a scary thing trying to get help, but Neuromed’s receptionist, Cassidy, took a lot of that anxiety and fear out of the equation. I was able to get quick assistance on which provider from the team would best fit my needs."

FAQs
What is naturopathy, and how can it benefit me?
Naturopathy is a branch of medicine that focuses on the body's inherent healing capabilities. It integrates science based traditional healing methods, natural remedies and supplementation, and modern medical practices to prevent and treat diseases. The benefits of naturopathy include the treatment of chronic illnesses, improved overall wellness, and an emphasis on disease prevention through lifestyle and dietary modifications.
How is counselling provided at your practice and who can benefit from it?
Our counselling services are provided by trained professionals who utilise various therapeutic techniques based on individual patients needs. We provide counselling for individuals, couples, and families. It can benefit anyone who is dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply needs guidance during challenging life events. Our goal is to offer a safe and supportive environment to express emotions and work towards personal growth and wellbeing.
How do naturopathy and counselling work together in a treatment plan?
The integration of naturopathy and counselling allows us to address both physical and mental health simultaneously. Naturopathy targets physical and chemical imbalances and supports the body's healing process, while counselling focuses on emotional wellbeing and mental health. The combination of both helps to promote a more comprehensive health approach, contributing to the overall wellbeing of our clients.
Consultations for each modality are separate, and if you wish to include both modalities in your treatment plan, our practitioners can work collaboratively on their approach.
Are your services covered by private health insurance?
The coverage for our services largely depends on your individual health insurance plan. Some plans cover counselling and nutrition services, but currently, insurance providers do not cover naturopathic treatments. We recommend that you check with your insurance provider to understand your coverage better. We can also provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit for insurance reimbursement.
How can I book an appointment and what should I expect for my first visit?
You can book an appointment by contacting us via email, or by using the online booking system on our website. During your first visit, you will have a detailed consultation to understand your health history, lifestyle, and any specific issues you are dealing with. This will help us create a personalised treatment plan. Please remember to provide any relevant medical documents or test results prior to your appointment.
